The prospectus states the objective is a high level of current income. The fund invests in public credit and private credit, normally about 60% and 40% of net assets. Public credit spans high-yield corporate, investment grade corporate and securitized debt (neutral mix about 25/10/25). Private credit, managed by sub-adviser KKR Credit, covers corporate direct lending (mainly first-lien loans to upper middle-market companies) and asset-based finance. It may hold below investment grade debt, up to 20% non-U.S. securities and derivatives for duration and credit exposure, and does not expect to borrow for leverage.
