The prospectus states the Fund seeks long-term capital appreciation and current income by acquiring minority equity stakes (GP Stakes) in institutionalized alternative asset managers through secondary, primary and direct investments. At least 80% of net assets is invested in GP Stakes, and the Fund concentrates in the asset management industry as a fundamental policy. Typical positions are 0.5% to 5% of total assets, with a 5% per-GP-Stake limit at the time of investment. A liquid sleeve of listed asset-manager equities, money market funds and written put options supports repurchases and capital calls. Every investment requires unanimous approval of a five-member CAZ Investment Committee.
