Monroe Capital Income Plus Corporation is a privately offered, externally managed BDC that lends mainly to U.S. and Canadian lower middle-market companies, most of them private equity sponsored. The portfolio is dominated by floating-rate senior secured loans, with smaller junior secured, unitranche and equity positions. The mandate is broad: asset-based loans, structured credit, securitized products, specialty and fund finance, and secondary purchases are all permitted. The Fund aims to earn current income from interest and fees, enhanced by warrants, equity co-investments and PIK, and uses substantial borrowings across bank, SPV, securitization and unsecured note facilities.
