Vista Credit Strategic Lending Corp. is a privately offered, perpetual-life BDC that lends to middle-market enterprise software, data and technology-enabled companies, drawing on the Vista Equity Partners software platform for sourcing and underwriting. The stated objective is current income and, to a lesser extent, capital appreciation. The mandate allows senior and subordinated debt, preferred stock and equity taken alongside financings, with at least 80% of total assets in credit. In practice the book is almost all first-lien, floating-rate loans across sponsor-backed, founder-owned and broadly syndicated deals at low loan-to-value. Loans are generally below investment grade and may be covenant-lite.
